Kailash Bishnoi’s Story

Kailash Bishnoi discovered his passion for wildlife & Nature at a young age and loves sharing his knowledge of the Bishnoi Community to which he belongs with like-minded Individuals.

As a youngster Kailash, from the Bishnoi community, took his friends on rustic village trips into the wild for fun and Bishnoi community principles, which ignited his love affair with the “Lands of Black Bucks” and another wild inhabitant. A resident of Guda Bishnoiya near Jodhpur, the local for the region was not enough. His passion for protecting and exploring to conserve and protect led him to Osian and Jawai.

Over the years Kailash developed his knowledge for wilderness and its habitants, protecting and conserving and educating travelers and tourists, and began to identify the leopards, Camels, and the Black Bucks apart from other species of Deer’s, Antelopes, Blue Bulls, Birds, chinkara, desert foxes, partridges, peacocks, etc. Kailash quickly learned to navigate the Villages and the area around and discover the best places to observe Nature.

To spread the awareness and share the knowledge he began operating this village Safari trips professionally thereby starting Bishnoi Safari & Tours established in 2010 and has not looked back since. Since then Kailash has expanded the professional horizons to Osian with Osian Safaris and to Jawai with The Jawai Experiences. One Mission HELP PRESERVE NATURE AND ITS HABITANTS.

He started with integrating the local communities and other tribes to better understand and showcase The Bishnoi Village, Osian, and Jawai. The efforts today have been recognized with the personal, structured, customized, and designed safaris, overnight stays, homestays, camping, and other drive-through experiences curated to individual specifications and time restraints. Be it exploring the Leopards and the Crocodiles of Jawai or driving through the wilderness of Jawai or camping under the stars in the Jungle, Kailash as a host can be an unmatched experience.

If one is to experience Jawai or The Bishnoi village try getting him to tag along or be your host. You would want to come back again and again.
